Assorted Balloon Rams are a selectively bred ornamental strain of the German Blue Ram, known for their round, robust body shape and vibrant colors. They are popular in community and planted aquariums due to their peaceful nature (except during breeding) and attractive appearance. While they resemble wild-type German Blue Rams in coloration, they have a more pronounced, taller body and pointed dorsal and anal fins, particularly in males.
