Keeping Borneo Suckers (Hillstream Loaches) requires a mature tank with strong water flow, plenty of smooth rocks/wood for algae growth, cooler tropical temperatures (20-25°C), and a diet supplemented with sinking foods and algae wafers, mimicking their natural, fast-flowing stream habitat. They are peaceful but need pristine water and should be kept in groups with other calm, similarly-sized fish, avoiding overly aggressive tankmates or species that compete for bottom food.
