Keeping female guppies is great, especially in all-female tanks to avoid constant breeding, but they still need a social environment (groups of 3+) with proper tank setup (filtration, plants for hiding), good water quality, and a varied diet. If mixed with males, aim for 2-3 females per male to reduce stress, but be prepared for frequent fry, or keep only young females to prevent pregnancy.
